Is it possible to save videos from youtube to a computer with no extra softwear other then say window media pl?

ok, so i'm wondering if i can save videos from youtube to my computer just as i save pictures i find on the web. can i play them back, just as a view pictures? could i put them on a mp3 player that plays back video? would i have to have any special softwear on my somputer, or could i just do all this with standard stuff, like windos media player?

No, unfortunately you require a program like "VideoGet" to do that.

Youtube videos are not temporarily stored on our hard drives like other internet related files.

Download, convert and save videos directly from Youtube and more. Formats AVI, MPEG, MP4, 3GP, WMV, MP3, FLV, MOV, WAV

1. copy the video url (Example: http://www.youtu . . . .)

2. go to http://forinside.com

3. paste the video url in the url box

4. select format (AVI, MPEG, MP4, 3GP, WMV, MP3, FLV, MOV, WAV)

5. Click download

* Moreover, it can convert local videos on your PC in the formats above.

Use http://forinside.com

this will help you... use 'zillatube'

it is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube easily download videos from Youtube... to your computer, and more (e.g. it will help you convert them for mp3 players, or just watch them easily anytime you want).

It works very well - http://www.zillatube.com

ok, well realplayer has a built in video recorder, but I would recommend installing download helper for firefox, you can find it in the firefox add ons section

my friend uses

www.clipnabber.com

and

www.tunenabber.com

u just put in the URL, and click the hyperlink, then save the mp4.

EASY!
