How to download camera pics without installing any softwear.?

We reacently fixed our computer. The parental unit is very strict on what we download. How do I upload my pics from my camera onto the computer. Directions would be wonderful

If you have a card reader, thats the best. If not, install the drivers that come with the camera. most modern cameras now have drivers and they let you see the camera as another disk drive, from which you can retrieve the pictures directly.

connect your camera to pc thru cable. a small icon will appear in the system tray( green arrow). open my computer you will find the camera as the next item.open it and copy it to pc. try it . contact if you have any more trouble. what is the type of phone? bapaul13@hotmail.com

You'll need a USB cable that will fit into your camera. Once you have that, you just hook your camera up to the computer and take your files off of it as if it were a flash drive. If you don't have a USB cable of the right size, but you have a 'Photo' Printer with little slots for memory cards hooked up to your computer, you can put your memory card in there and your computer can take the pics off the same way. I have only done that latter on a Mac, never tried on a PC. The 1st option should/will work with any computer.

if u have a card reader, it would be kool, its like having a USB, plug it in and copy paste the pics to your computer, also, when u bought the camara, it should of come with a software, if u dont have it, tell you parents that u will get it from their web site, i f they still say no, tell them to buy u the card reader, its the easiest and safest way, tell them that

Anybody can hook a camera up to a computer, via USB cable, what-have-you, but they all need one thing. A program on the computer that can read and download the information.

I have Adobe PhotoShop installed on my computer, but there are many others out there that will do the same thing..

If your computer doesn't already have some kind of photo editing software on it, then you are going to have to purchase some.

Didn't your camera come with software? Most do.

The best and quickest way is used a disk-drive if you are

having a digital camera. Just plug it in into the usb port ( for Win XP user)

and it will start reading using the standard Picture Viewer

program.
