What software do Electronic musicians use to create their music?

A friend of a friend has been making music himself using a software (or softwares) that my friend doesn't know.

Do you know what software that can generate artificial musical instruments sounds and mix them up like the DJs do?

All you need to do that is a computer. With a program like FL Studio, you don't even need a MIDI keyboard (piano). You can use the keyboard on your computer to tigger the instruments in FL Studio. Of course, if you can get a MIDI keyboard it would be best though.

All you need is a USB to MIDI cable, about 30-40 bucks and start up FL Studio and you are good to go.

A famous term of your question is looping, looping means you have a standard basic music loop for drums, bass or other instrument, and modified the beat, tempo, sound or style, mixing it together to create an electronic song.

Nowdays there are many software for loop, like Fruity Loop, Nuendo, Sonar, Protools, Magix,etc.

All you need is a PC, a sound card with midi controller, and a midi instument. But you can also create your music with out midi instrument by editing existing loop, transpose it, change the tempo, modify the drum style, etc. But if you use a midi instrument (Creative Labs produce a cheap mini midi keyboard like common PC's keyboard) you can create your own style easily.

You can learn it yourself, by downloading the relevant books of the software on internet.

It's easy, only took 1 week to learn and become electronic musician, but you also must have musical skill.

Opera is fairly good and favorable by a large group of Internet users. However, in my opinion it lacks all the useful add-ons which are available for Firefox such as: Adblock Plus (advertisement filtering), NoScript (better control of scripts on the page), Web developer (very useful add-on for all web-developers). I have been using only Opera for few years but since a year I use Firefox most of the time, with Opera as my second browser. In general, you won't find anything better than Firefox or Opera.

Adobe Premiere. It's expensive for most users, but is well worth it if you can afford it.

If you have a Mac Final Cut Studio is the way to go. It's pricey though, about $1,300.

Also iLife comes with iVideo which is more basic but still have some neat features. You can use it to dub in music and cut and move parts.

you might be able to decrease the sample rate. It will produce a somewhat degraded reproduction, but MP3 files are degraded from the original anyway.

one a song is "mixed" it is extremely difficult to unmix it.

you could pay an audio engineer $50- $200 dollars an hour to reduce the volume of the vocals (very difficult to completely remove them). doing this will change/reduce the quality of the other instruments in the song. you probably wouldn't be happy with the results.

AVG Free has consistently beaten a lot of the piad for anti-virus services. It is not as good as some, but arguably there is no best in the field as it depends how fast the updates come out.

Just copy the above code and paste it into Notepad. Save it by giving it any name you choose. Assuming, the file is called secret.txt, change the extension to ‘.bat‘ so that the new name becomes secret.bat. What you get is a batch file. You will be asked whether you want to lock the folder. Entry ‘Y’ (for Yes) and hit Enter. The folder becomes invisible. To retrieve the folder, run the batch file again. You will be prompted to enter the password. Enter the password, hit enter and voila! the folder appears.

Important: The batch file acts like a key to open the locked folder. So once you have created and locked a folder, do not keep the batch file in the same location since anybody can open the batch file and view your password. So I would suggest that you keep the batch file in a separate and safe place or better still keep it on your pen drive or flash drive. That way when you want to open the folder just copy the batch file to the location where you have your protected folder and run it.

Do remember that the above method is not intended to act as a substitute for the numerous free and commercial softwares that are specifically designed to provide security and encryption to your data.

The problem is with the straight double quotes used in the code in this post. Once you copy the code you would also need to change each of the double quotes with your keyboard double quotes. Unless you backed up the installation files and registry files, you'll have to install the "SOFTWARE" as a new install.

You have to reinstall them using the installer.

You can't just transfer a program like a file. Since most programs edit the registry so when you formatted you drive, you lost the registry files.

So you need to do it again. Formatting is like fresh from the start.

You can't transfer programs, they have to be installed with the installation program. You install everything the same way you did it the first time. If you don't know, just let it install automatically.

If you have a card reader, thats the best. If not, install the drivers that come with the camera. most modern cameras now have drivers and they let you see the camera as another disk drive, from which you can retrieve the pictures directly.

You'll need a USB cable that will fit into your camera. Once you have that, you just hook your camera up to the computer and take your files off of it as if it were a flash drive. If you don't have a USB cable of the right size, but you have a 'Photo' Printer with little slots for memory cards hooked up to your computer, you can put your memory card in there and your computer can take the pics off the same way. I have only done that latter on a Mac, never tried on a PC. The 1st option should/will work with any computer.

I am not a professional, and have not tried many programs out there; but I have the Family Tree Maker and I like it. I got the Family Tree Maker Version 16, Collectors Edition from my husband for Christmas. It was about $80, easy to install, easy to use. It also comes with a one-year free subscription to Ancestry.com US Deluxe Membership (you will need to call ancestry to set up the membership). If you don't already know, Ancestry normally charges $150 a year for that specific membership, so it is quite a deal, and if you spend a lot of time at it, you can really get the most for your money in that one year. I started out with a $10 version of Family Tree Maker that would allow me to build my family tree, but that was about it. All the really cool tools and features were locked on that version. Considering the $150 value of the free one-year membership to Ancestry.com, I would say my husband really got his money's worth on the $80 program.

Family Tree Maker, PAF and Roots Magic are the best choices for a beginner. TMG has a steep learning curve, from what I have read.

I use Roots Magic. I had both FTM and RM's predecessor, Family Origins For Windows, back with Windows 3.1. FOW was easier and more powerful. Among other things, with FOW/RM you only have to enter a place name once, and it then "suggests" that place again.

If you have, for instance, already entered two places:

The next time you enter "C" in a place fact, RM will type

for you, with everything from the "armel" onward highlighted. If that is what you mean, you press ENTER and have saved that much time. I use Family Tree Maker and I really like it. I like all the chart and tree options it has. I like the way you can search for any text in your records (although I don't like it that they call it Search by Name -- that's confusing!) I like their "Relationship Calculator" -- choose two people and it will tell you how they are related (like second cousins twice removed.) I like the way you can easily add photos to your trees. I like the way you can save files in different formats. It really has so many features that I don't think you could ask for anything more in a genealogy program! (Nope, I don't work for them! :) )

changing the background? do you mean sound or video? changing the background video would be quite complex and require sophisticated software.

If you have windows, and just want to change the sound, the free version of Windows Movie Maker that comes with Windows should be able to do that. Likewise on a Mac iMovie should be able to do that too. Changing the nackground soundtrack is easy, changing the video background is hard.
