What is the best software for doing graphic designs? Do u know any site for free downloads?

I would like to be able to post one picture to another picture. For example my picture in the picture of the eiffel tower background.. How can i do that? Which software?

And to add, I would like also a software where I can be able to do invitation cards... I would appreciate the help!

Best software is without a doubt: Photoshop! It's what every graphic designer use (among many other graphic design software such as QuarkXpress and illustrator) ... but for what you want to do, you'd want Photoshop.

You can use other free programs to do what you'd like to do, but Photoshop is by far the best program.

As for software for invitation cards .... You can use photoshop for this as well ... but if you want a program with templates, Microsoft Publisher is a good one.
